Bernie L. Bates Donations

The Bernie L. Bates Foundation, Inc., a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization (Tax ID No. 54-1752985). The proceeds generated by this event support and allow the Foundation to award scholarships to students who have demonstrated academic excellence and desire to continue their education through colleges and universities nationwide. Proceeds from the Foundation also allow Psi Alpha Alpha to service the community by means of benevolent designations and various mandated social action projects.

Your donations are fully tax deductible when written to the Bernie L. Bates Foundation, Inc.  If you contribute using a credit card, your credit card statement will reflect payment to Psi Alpha Alpha.  This is due to the format of the platform the website is built upon which we are working to have updated.  I assure you that your donations are deposited directly into Bernie L. Bates Foundation, Inc. accounts.  You will also receive a statement from the foundation acknowledging your donation.

How to contribute: There are currently three methods of contributing:

Directly to the Foundation by mailing a check or money order to the Bernie L. Bates Foundation, P. 0. Box 150653, Alexandria, VA 22315-0651.   This method is required for contributions over $500 due to host platform limitations.

By way of the Metropolitan Area Washington, DC, Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) pledge form, during its annual campaign season. Our CFC organizational number is 58697.
